Dr. Linda J Levine is the director of the Hadley Center for Back and Neck Pain in Hadley, MA. She completed her undergraduate studies in psychology before attaining her doctor of Chiropractic degree. She has been in private practice since 1986 and utilizes a functional approach to treatment, having had over 300 hours in postgraduate training in rehabilitation of the spine and musculoskeletal system. Dr. Levine is trained in homeopathy, having graduated from the New England School of Homeopathy. She is also well versed in yoga and meditation. In addition, she works with energy medicine and intuitive counseling, helping patients from all over the country.
Dr. Levine has traveled across the U.S., Canada, and Scotland, assisting in the teaching of workshops on the rehabilitation of spine and musculoskeletal disorders. She has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and has co-authored a text entitled Pelvic Locomotor Dysfunction: A Clinical Approach. She loves the ocean, singing, and playing the piano and guitar.
Using homeopathy, Dr. Levine will try to match a person’s relevant mental, emotional, and physical symptoms with the correct homeopathic remedy. These remedies are natural substances that stimulate a person’s own inherent healing powers. The first session is about an hour. - Manual (hands-on) chiropractic manipulation and mobilization of the spine and extremities (jaw, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle, and foot.)
- Fascial Manipulation of painfully dense and restricted tissues as well as scar formations post injury or post surgery.
- Active and passive myofascial release techniques of muscles, tendons, and soft tissues including scars.
- Soft tissue massage and trigger point therapy (Travell's trigger points) and acupressure.
