Ok. So you go food shopping like everyone else– the local supermarket. What do you look for? What do you do? Think like a caveman/woman! Listen to your innate genetic programming, not your tastebuds. It will tell you how to eat. Go to the produce aisle and literally "hunt" for the freshest, most colorful vegetables and fruits. Be focused. Remember, you are hunting and gathering! I go right for the broccoli and squeeze the stem. Is it rock hard and fresh or soft, limp, and old? Gather up a variety of produce and move on to secure some protein in the form of lean meats, eggs, cheeses, seeds and nuts, etc.. It is best to gather grass fed meats. Lamb is usually grass fed whereas beef is usually grain fed so you will have to look hard or shop for meats at a different place.

Dr. DeFranca are you able to tell us where to find grass fed chicken and beef? Any local supermarkets?
