Physician’s Prayer

Dear Lord,
I humbly ask for your divine guidance in the treatment of my patients:

I pray that you give me the understanding, strength, and wisdom to listen, look, and touch my patients with the power of your healing love.

I pray that my hands and heart will be guided by your healing love, making me an instrument of your healing.

I pray that you aid me lessen the suffering and pain in my patients on the physical, emotional, and spiritual planes.

I pray that you supply me with purity of intent, the wisdom to heal, and the compassion to help another with a gentle hand and an open heart.
